The sitting room


Sitting/Dining Room. Original oak beams, exposed stonework, natural stone floor and beautiful stone bread oven/fireplace. Wood burning stove in the winter months. Circular old pine dining table and chairs, double bed/settee and comfy armchairs. Internal wooden staircase to bedrooms. CD/cassette player and a selection of books and CDs are available. Video and DVD players and portable French TV are available upon request.


The double bedroom

Double bedroom. Exposed oak beams and wooden, stencilled floorboards. Creamy stone walls, ivory soft furnishings and a pretty French antique bedroom suite with double bed. Window looks out onto private rear garden.


The twin bedroom


Twin bedroom. Exposed oak beams, stone walls and wooden, whitewashed floorboards. Two single original iron beds, blue and cream soft furnishings. Diamond shaped ‘oeil de boeuf’ window.

Kitchen. French windows onto private garden. Natural stone floor and custom built range of kitchen cupboards. Gas hob, electric oven, washing machine, large fridge, freezer, microwave, electric food mixer, toaster, cafétière, stainless steel saucepans, plain white crockery. Iron and ironing board.


Bathroom. White bath with shower, washbasin and toilet. Heated towel rail. Stone walls, white tiles and beams.

Under the shady pergola
The private walled garden has a shady pergola planted with wisteria & climbing roses, a barbecue and a set of wooden garden furniture, which makes a perfect setting for outdoor eating & drinking. The gravel sun terrace with its potted plants and lawn along with trees, flowers and herb garden offer an ideal relaxing environment. Teak ‘chaises longues’ and cushions.

A shared above ground splash pool - shallow but 3 metres in diameter – is fully fenced in traditional oak for the safety of our younger guests.

Twin bedroom

Twin bedroom. Two single iron French beds, one being 120cm wide. Natural stone walls, wooden floorboards. Red and cream soft furnishings. Low wardrobe and chest of drawers. Window onto the private garden.


Private rear garden

The private walled garden has a wisteria-covered pergola, ideal for shaded outdoor living, having its own garden furniture and barbecue. There is a gravel sun terrace and lawn with young trees, herbs and flowers.
